We're big fans of the Riese & Müller Packster.  Why? Well, in part because of the low and long cargo bed, partly because the easy access low-step frame, and partly because of the seamless integration with Bosch and dual battery option available for customers needing extra range.

But there's so much more to this bike.  Take, for instance, the new EPP (think helmet foam) cargo box - providing insulation and side impact protection. Or the kickstand - a cargo bike is as good as it's kickstand - and the Packster stands alone.  The dual-legged kickstand is wide, easy to deploy and renders the bike incredibly stable.

Or how about the range of accessories?  Like the Four Seasons canopy that keeps kids dry in rainy weather? This is more than a bike - it's a comprehensive transportation solution that holds nothing back. 

The Packster has an optional rear rack that is Racktime SnapIt accessory compatible. As well, the bike comes with fenders and lights standard. Riese & Müller pairs the included rear wheel lock key with the Bosch battery key so you can keep your keychain uncluttered. What's not to love?

• Fits the whole family. Space for up to three children or one adult up to 5’6” tall in the shock-absorbent and yet insulating closed-cell foam box.

• Safety is top priority.Child seats all feature 5-point seat belts, while the side impact protection provides outstanding safety in urban traffic and the central railing doubles as a grab handle.

• Wow! What capacity. At the same time doubling as a loading space for up to 240 litres. You can even transport up to 350 litres with the optional high box cover.

• Front suspension standard. Riese & Müller cares about comfort - that's why they include front suspension to cushion the ride for rider and passenger alike.

• Packster 70 Sustainability Standard. Non-toxic accessories and the use of selected materials: the box, which is made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) is produced with zero emissions and 100% recyclable. The Four Seasons child cover and tarpaulin are both certified with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 seal, while the child seats are made of 100% recycled fabric.

• Low step frame. Different from the popular front loader from Copenhagen - the Bullitt - the Packster employs a lower step frame to make it easy to get on and off, even when loaded.

• Available with a derailleur drivetrain or Enviolo IGH. Choose your own adventure!

• Available with the Bosch Cargo Line Cruise motor. Amp up your climbing ability and acceleration with the Bosch Cargo Line Cruise, offering a whopping 85 Nm of torque.

• 8 week assembly time. Assembly and shipping from Germany can take about this long.

WARRANTY

Riese & Müller warranties their frame against breakage for 10 years (5 years for ebikes). Warranty requires registration within 4 weeks and is non-transferrable..  Individual accessories and components have a 1 year limited warranty. Bosch components carry a 2 year warranty.
